Villányi Franc Super Premium Lot 2 2016
The Cabernet Franc was harvested from the renowned Kopár vineyard in mid-October. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, it was left on the lees for 10 days to enhance complexity, then matured for 24 months in new, medium-toasted Hungarian oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Its aroma is dominated by spicy, barrel-derived notes, which are echoed on the palate. True to its origin, it reflects the signature style of the region:
