Blackbird Kopár Merlot 2017
Premium Merlot from reputable Kopár vineyard in Villany. Matured 18 months in second filled 225 l Hungarian oak barrels. The fragrance shows lot of fruitiness with the notes of candied sour cherry, plum, red currant, complemented by sweet spices from the barrel (licorice, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, vanilla). The sip is light, soft, fulfilled with red berry aromas (sour cherry, cherry, raspberry) and slight spiciness. Great potential. Limited quantity.
