Falcon Villányi Cuvée 2020

This elegant, premium Bordeaux blend is crafted from organically grown grapes—Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Kopár vineyard, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tenkes vineyard. With excellent ageing potential, it is a wine well-suited for cellaring.

The Merlot was harvested in early October, followed by the Cabernet Franc in mid-October, and the Cabernet Sauvignon at the end of the month. Each varietal was fermented separately in stainless steel tanks and matured individually in 225-liter Hungarian and French toasted oak barrels for 18 to 20 months. The final blend was assembled only after fining.

Tasting Notes

The wine offers a layered and complex bouquet of red and black fruits, with blueberry at the forefront, complemented by sweet spice aromas. On the palate, it displays vibrant acidity and a firm, well-structured body, supported by refined minerality. Subtle leather notes add further depth and sophistication.
